Before any boiler installation, we always make sure the appliance fits your needs, and the needs of your heating system. In addition to this, during a boiler swap the water in your heating system is flushed out and dosed with a chemical to keep it clean and heating your radiators efficiently.

If your condensate pipe is installed on the outside of the house, it needs to be properly insulated to avoid freezing. If possible, the condensate pipe is best routed inside the house so if freezing is a recurring problem, you can have one of our engineers come out to investigate the possibility of an internal solution. There are also products available to electrically heat your condensate pipe to deter cold weather.

Dropping pressure on a heating system can be indicative of several issues, the most likely of which is a small leak somewhere. Although not an immediate problem, topping up a boiler constantly can eventually lead to radiator corrosion and even boiler failure. Have one of our engineers check it out!
